Preview: Forsyth Central Bulldogs vs. West Forsyth Wolverines
Forsyth Central is 0-7 against West Forsyth since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Forsyth Central Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the West Forsyth Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. Forsyth Central comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Forsyth Central took a serious blow against South Forsyth, falling 34-7.
Meanwhile, West Forsyth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by Milton at home and fell 45-14.
West Forsyth's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryder Stewart, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Max Walraven who threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns.
Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-6, while West Forsyth's bumped their own down to the opposite: 6-2.
Forsyth Central took a serious blow against West Forsyth in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, falling 40-0. Thankfully for Forsyth Central, Peyton Streko (who rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
