Football Recap: Padua Franciscan Comes Up Short

Padua Franciscan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions and fell 48-6. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Landon Hanover threw for 49 yards on seven of 16 attempts. Reed Cervenka was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Padua Franciscan's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
