Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Grant Generals and fell 52-21. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roughriders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-40 back in January.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Grant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
