Basketball Recap: Lansing Catholic Falls to Saranac in First Game of Season

Lansing Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saranac Redhawks on Monday.

Despite the loss, Lansing Catholic saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sydney Hanes posted 22 points.

Coming up, Lansing Catholic will face off against Olivet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Saranac, they will be playing at home against Carson City-Crystal at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
