Basketball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 67-42 to the Granite Falls Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the House of the 56-25 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Northwest's record now sits at 3-6. As for Granite Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will face off against South Whidbey at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granite Falls, they will challenge Bush at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bush will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Granite Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
