Basketball Recap: Niskayuna Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Niskayuna won the last time they faced Albany and things went their way on Thursday too. The Niskayuna Silver Warriors took down the Albany Falcons 69-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Silver Warriors.

Niskayuna's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points over those games. As for Albany, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Coming up, Niskayuna will be playing at home against Shaker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaker knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Niskayuna likes a good challenge. As for Albany, they will venture away from home to take on Amsterdam at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Amsterdam will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Albany surely won't give up without a fight.
