Softball Recap: Immokalee Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Immokalee's offense. They fell 5-0 to the North Fort Myers Red Knights on Saturday. The Indians have struggled against the Red Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Immokalee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North Fort Myers, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Immokalee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Cypress Lake on the 12th. As for North Fort Myers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-9 victory against Ida Baker on the 14th.
