Orem posted their closest victory since March 7th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Summit Academy Bears 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Tyler Richards spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Orem's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ford, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Orem now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Summit Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Orem will have a chance to go back-to-back against Summit Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
