Recap: Plainview vs. Creighton
Plainview featured prominently on the scoreboard in its previous game, but it had difficulty even getting on the board against Creighton. Plainview had a rough outing against Creighton last week, losing 58 - 0. Since it was a playoff game, the defeat was a particularly difficult one for Plainview.
Even though Plainview lost, senior Matt Hoffmann provided the team with a solid game as he showed off his agility by splitting the defense to the tune of 148 yards.
The win put an added shine on Creighton's spotless record, now 10-0. Plainview dropped down to.500 with a 5-5 record.
The Creighton squad is hoping to improve its record as its season nears the close. Creighton will look to defend its home turf against East Butler this Tuesday at 4:00 PM.
