Softball Recap: William Blount Has No Trouble Against Eagleton College & Career Academy

William Blount's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Governors' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Bella Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Abi McCauley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

William Blount always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eagleton College & Career Academy only posted an OBP of .158.

William Blount's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.
