Softball Recap: Pasadena Memorial Comes Up Short

Pasadena Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 24-11 to the Shadow Creek Sharks. Even if the Mavericks couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Pasadena Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Shadow Creek, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

Coincidentally, Pasadena Memorial and Shadow Creek will both be playing Pearland the next time they take the field. The Mavericks will head out to face the Oilers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Sharks will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
