Kinston won against Charles Henderson on Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bulldogs didn't even let the Ponce De Leon Pirates on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Bulldogs have won 21 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kinston is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Ponce De Leon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Kinston will face off against Ariton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ponce De Leon, they will head out on the road to face off against Freeport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
