Baseball Recap: Quilcene Comes Up Short

Quilcene was the 5-4 winner over Oakville when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell 7-3 to the Acorns on Wednesday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Quilcene saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Love, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Quilcene's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Oakville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quilcene will challenge Concrete at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakville, they will take on Ocosta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
