Football Recap: Jonah Justice's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Beaver over North Catholic

Beaver fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against North Catholic on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Beaver lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jonah Justice, who rushed for 160 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles. Avery Scales also helped with two TDs in total.

Beaver's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
