Football Recap: Seth Kimmel Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mount Union + How To Watch

Berlin Brothersvalley lost to Mount Union back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mountaineers took down the Trojans 28-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

Berlin Brothersvalley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Kimmel, who rushed for 109 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 109 rushing yards gave Kimmel a new career-high. Brady Janidlo was another key player, rushing for 74 yards on only seven carries.

Despite the loss, Mount Union still got an impressive performance from Nasir Collins, who rushed for 118 yards and one score.

Berlin Brothersvalley's record now sits at 2-0. As for Mount Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berlin Brothersvalley will host Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Mountaineers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mount Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
