Basketball Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short

San Diego and Taft squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but San Diego had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Taft Greyhounds by a score of 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vaqueros have suffered since February 20, 2024.

San Diego's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 18-16.

San Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taft, they and Lyford will meet in a dog eat dog contest on Thursday. Lyford will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Taft surely won't give up without a fight.
