Paxton comes up short despite Josh Eakins' strong performance

Recap: Paxton Tigers vs. Hershey Panthers
The Paxton Tigers were the 68-36 winner over the Hershey Panthers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Paxton fell 60-47 to Hershey on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Paxton still got an impressive performance from Josh Eakins, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Tanner Hebblethwaite, who scored nine points.
Paxton's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Hershey, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paxton will take on Sutherland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Paxton is coming into the game with eight straight losses at home, meaning Sutherland will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Hershey will take on St. Patrick's at TBD on Thursday. Hershey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 127th, while St. Patrick's is ranked 23rd).
