Fond du Lac had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Oconomowoc Raccoons by a score of 10-7. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raccoons, too.

Fond du Lac's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oconomowoc, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Coincidentally, Fond du Lac and Oconomowoc will both be playing Hartford the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Orioles on Saturday, while the Raccoons will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
