Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against Hiawatha Collegiate, falling 77-35. While losing is never fun, the Tommies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Hiawatha Collegiate are ranked 158th).

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hiawatha Collegiate, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coming up, Edison will face off against Minneapolis Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. Hiawatha Collegiate will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Twin Cities Academy/Great River at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
