Houghton entered their tilt with L'Anse on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the L'Anse Purple Hornets, posting a 74-46 win. The Gremlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Houghton pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for L'Anse, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
