Basketball Recap: Longview Lobos vs. Rockwall-Heath Hawks
After a string of five wins, Longview's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockwall-Heath Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Hawks are ranked 82nd).

When it comes to explaining why Longview lost, don't look at Demarion Williams. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points and seven boards. The matchup was Williams' third in a row with at least ten points. Jeffery Smith was another key player, putting up eight points.
