Softball Recap: Russellville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Russellville took on Trigg County on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Russellville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Trigg County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Russellville has already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Warren East on the 14th. As for Trigg County, they will venture away from home to challenge Crittenden County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
