Basketball Recap: Pahrump Valley Comes Up Short

Pahrump Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 56-32 to the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly 24 points.

Despite the loss, Pahrump Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Saldana posted 13 points and seven boards. That was a full 40.6% of Pahrump Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Pahrump Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
