Softball Recap: Kamehameha Kapalama's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kamehameha Kapalama proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Maryknoll Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Spartans on March 5th, they had to take a 6-4 loss.

Bobbi Cambra was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Alexis Ahlo-Garcia was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The win (which was Kamehameha Kapalama's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Maryknoll, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kamehameha Kapalama is set to face off against their familiar foe Punahou at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Maryknoll will take on rival 'Iolani at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
