 With a playoff game on the line, Taylorsville rose to the challenge  on Friday. While the  2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Taylorsville Warriors who were credited with the  victory. The Taylorsville Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Granger Lancers's three. For Taylorsville, this counts as revenge for the   1-0 defeat Granger walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April.

 Alex Montes Peres scored both of Taylorsville's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.
 Taylorsville's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Granger, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record  this season.
 Taylorsville will square off against Hunter at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hunter will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  victory, something Taylorsville surely won't give up without a fight. Granger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
