Football Game Preview: Dierks vs. Mineral Springs

On Friday Mineral Springs take on Dierks at 7:00 PM. Mineral Springs are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last contest, too, so the odds might count for a little less.

Last Friday, Mineral Springs came up short against Gurdon, falling 24-33. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Mineral Springs.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Dierks lost to Foreman, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-46. Dierks were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-39.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
