Kit Carson's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Walsh Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kit Carson took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-13.

Shay Rady paced Kit Carson's offense, picking up eight kills. Rady got some help from Avery Johnson and her eight assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Kit Carson's record now sits at 4-7. As for Walsh, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kit Carson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Merino on the 20th. As for Walsh, they will host South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
