Preview: Parkway Northwest Hoyas vs. Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush KNIGHTS

Parkway Northwest is 4-0 against Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Parkway Northwest Hoyas just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush KNIGHTS at 3:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Parkway Northwest is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush in Pennsylvania (Parkway Northwest is ranked 297th, while Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush is ranked 748th).

On Monday, Parkway Northwest didn't have too much trouble with KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy at home as they won 67-48. The win was just what Parkway Northwest needed coming off of a 53-33 loss in their prior contest.

Parkway Northwest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaicir Isaac out in front who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Isaac scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Devin Caufield, who scored 14 points.

Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, who are still winless after their eighth match. They fell just short of Randolph Vo-Tech by a score of 55-52.

Parkway Northwest pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Parkway Northwest's way against Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as Parkway Northwest made off with a 77-57 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkway Northwest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
