Soccer Recap: Forest Lake Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Forest Lake had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Duluth East Greyhounds by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Forest Lake of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The victory got Duluth East back to even at 1-1.

Forest Lake has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Blaine on the 22nd. As for Duluth East, they will square off against Mounds View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
