Cozad dropped down to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Gothenburg Swedes 56-21. The Haymakers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Cozad lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Olliver Davis, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one touchdown.
