Baseball Recap: Sunapee Takes a Loss

Sunapee and Newmarket squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sunapee had to settle for second. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mules. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mules apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2022.

Sunapee's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Newmarket, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Sunapee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newmarket, they will take on Woodsville on Saturday.
