Baseball Recap: Prince of Peace Has No Trouble Against Coram Deo Academy

Prince of Peace got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on the Coram Deo Academy Lions with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Hamilton Klint, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024. Cole Clendaniel was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Klint wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Prince of Peace kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

With the victory, Prince of Peace broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-6-1. As for Coram Deo Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Prince of Peace will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
