Softball Recap: O'Neill Eagles vs. Polk County Slammers
O'Neill lost against Polk County back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The O'Neill Eagles fell just short of the Polk County Slammers by a score of 7-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

O'Neill will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against NEN. NEN will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something O'Neill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polk County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against St. Paul. Polk County is facing St. Paul at the right time seeing as St. Paul is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
