Basketball Recap: Neenah Has No Trouble Against Appleton East

The third road contest was the charm for Neenah, as they earned their first road win of the season. They were the clear victor by a 53-29 margin over the Appleton East Patriots on Friday. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Rockets this season.

Neenah now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Appleton East, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Neenah won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Indian Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neenah is facing Indian Trail at the right time seeing as Indian Trail is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Appleton East will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Onalaska at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Onalaska knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Appleton East likes a good challenge.
