Softball Recap: Baldwin County Tigers vs. Spanish Fort Toros

While Baldwin County couldn't quite beat Spanish Fort on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the six-point loss they were dealt last Saturday. The Baldwin County Tigers fell just short of the Spanish Fort Toros by a score of 6-4. Madilyn Byrd was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out nine batters over eight innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. Byrd was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
