Football Game Preview: Lincoln Lancers vs. Alameda Pirates + How To Watch

The Lincoln Lancers will venture away from home to face off against the Alameda Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Lincoln nor Alameda posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mitchell on Friday.

Meanwhile, Alameda had to suffer through a 59-6 loss at the hands of Denver West. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lincoln will have to contain Christopher Garcia as he made an impact in Alameda's last game. He picked up 150 receiving yards and one score.

Alameda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Elias Pitones and Dominic Huerta.

Alameda's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Lincoln took a serious blow against Alameda when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 74-0. Thankfully for the Lancers, Angel Arroyo (who rushed for 258 yards and seven TDs while picking up 14.3 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
