Clinton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 74-67 victory over the Jefferson Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 74-70 loss.

Clinton is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Clinton has already played their next game, a 70-49 win against Whitewater on the 4th. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 65-39 defeat against Evansville on the 4th.
