Snider extended the longest winning streak in Summit this week by beating North Side, 17-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

The Redskins moved up to 29 from 56 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 17-6 win over North Side helped North Side improve its standing.

Domonique Gleason was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 106 yards on 16 carries as South Side lost to Arsenal Tech. Teammate Donovan Clark added to the ground attack by rushing for 85 yards.

Bishop Dwenger's Cody Miller and Ryan Watercutter have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Summit in both passing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 503 yards this season, while Watercutter, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 18 catches for 291 yards. Clark from the Archers leads the league in rushing with 643 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when South Side takes on Wayne. Walter Raines's team's offense has scored 130 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Generals have allowed only 254 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bishop Luers takes on Casey Kolkman's team. At the moment, the Knights are in third, while the Redskins are in second.

Northrop was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Bruins vanquished Fenton 42-6 earlier in the week.
