Conemaugh Township entered their tilt with West Shamokin on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wolves. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Wolves back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Csenge Szabo was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and one assist. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high. Quinn Moser also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Conemaugh Township's win bumped their record up to 18-2-1. As for West Shamokin, they moved to 18-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 17-match winning streak.

Conemaugh Township and West Shamokin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Indians (ranked 69th) will meet Salisbury Elk Lick (ranked 411th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Shamokin will take on Tyrone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 182).
