Soccer Game Preview: Satellite vs. Mount Dora

The Satellite Scorpions will face off against the Mount Dora Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Satellite heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Merritt Island. The defeat continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Satellite's goal came courtesy of Jameson Kraft, who's now up to 19 this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Mount Dora's offense. They lost 4-0 to Bishop Moore on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Hornets are ranked 28th).

Satellite's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Mount Dora, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-1.
