Softball Recap: West Orange-Stark Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, West Orange-Stark was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 21-1 to the Bridge City Cardinals. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

West Orange-Stark saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sha'Lynn Jones, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

West Orange-Stark's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-2. As for Bridge City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Coming up, West Orange-Stark will head out to face off against Hull-Daisetta at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. West Orange-Stark is facing Hull-Daisetta at the right time seeing as Hull-Daisetta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bridge City, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals take on the Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Lake Creek will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Bridge City surely won't give up without a fight.
