Softball Recap: Chicago Washington Patriots vs. Brooks Eagles

Chicago Washington fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Brooks on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 19-18. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Julianna Rodriguez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. In other batting news, Mia Menchaca stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI.
