Basketball Recap: Belt Takes a Loss

Belt lost against Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Belt Huskies took a hard 54-39 fall against Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine. The match marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Belt's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Belt has already played their next contest (against White Sulphur Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
