Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Azle Christian). They blew past the Ranger Bulldogs 20-4 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Fighting Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Justin Barber, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Grayson Smith was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Azle Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Azle Christian now has a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Azle Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Harvest Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvest Christian Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.4 runs per game on average), something Azle Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ranger, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Eula at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
