Volleyball Game Preview: Allen Academy Rams vs. Faith West Academy Eagles

For the first time this season, Allen Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After both having extra time off, they and the Faith West Academy Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Allen Academy lost 3-0 to St. Paul on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-11.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Faith West Academy blew past St. Joseph Catholic 3-0. Faith West Academy hasn't had any issues with St. Joseph Catholic recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Faith West Academy never let St. Joseph Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.

Allen Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season. As for Faith West Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2.

Allen Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Faith West Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
