Basketball Recap: Davies Career & Tech Takes a Loss

Davies Career & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 45-35 to the Tiverton Tigers. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Caleb Purcell was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 15 points. Brendan King was another key player, putting up seven points.

Davies Career & Tech now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Tiverton, they moved to 1-10-1 with that victory, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Davies Career & Tech will host Central Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tiverton, they will head out to face off against West Warwick at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. West Warwick knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Tiverton likes a good challenge.
