Tensas Academy suffers fifth straight loss on the road

Recap: Tensas Academy Chiefs vs. Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack

The Tensas Academy Chiefs lost against the Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tensas Academy was outmatched by Woodlawn Prep on the road and fell 71-30. Tensas Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-9.

Woodlawn Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Sinclair out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drayson Patterson, who scored 12 points.

Tensas Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Woodlawn Prep, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Tensas Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mt. Salus Christian at 7:00 p.m. Mt. Salus Christian has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 6. As for Woodlawn Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Tallulah Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tallulah Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 322nd in Louisiana, while Woodlawn Prep is ranked 150th in Mississippi).
