Football Recap: DYSON PARKER Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Viewmont

Weber won the last time they faced Viewmont and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 35-22. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Weber got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DYSON PARKER out in front who rushed for 225 yards and two scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. PARKER's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. CREED DEVRIES did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 182 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Weber was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Weber didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of LINKEN HUSTON and CARSON HILL.

Despite the loss, Viewmont still got an impressive performance from Benji Tolman, who rushed for 164 yards, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Weber and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Viewmont, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Weber will head out to face off against Lehi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense better be ready for this one: the Pioneers have averaged an impressive 35 points per game this season. As for Viewmont, they will host Somerset Academy Losee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
