Basketball Game Preview: Grant Lancers vs. Poly Parrots

The Grant Lancers will challenge the Poly Parrots at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grant comes in on four and Poly on 14.

Grant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over Jordan. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted since February 1st.

Meanwhile, Poly was able to grind out a solid victory over Granada Hills Charter on Wednesday, taking the game 66-53.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Poly, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9.

Grant was taken down by Poly 79-46 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grant was down 41-20.
