Hayfork won the last time they faced Chester and Levi Cavalli did his part to make sure it happened again. The Timberjacks blew past the Volcanoes 56-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Cavalli, who rushed for 125 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 16th straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season.

One reason for the win was Hayfork's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Chester's QB won't forget Ethan Miller anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Hayfork's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chester, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hayfork will face off against rival Burney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Timberjacks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Chester is set to take on their familiar foe Loyalton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will also give the Volcanoes their first taste of in-conference action this season.
